The Liberty men's basketball team clinched a No. 5 seed in the 2012 Big South Championship, defeating Campbell on Saturday, 49-41. Living in an apartment in Lynchburg, and being a Flames fan, called for a celebration on Saturday!
With the victory, the Flames finish the season 14-17 overall and 9-9 Big South and are set to face No. 4 seed Charleston Southern in the quarterfinals, on Wednesday. Campbell concludes the regular season at 17-14 overall and 11-6 in the Big South.
