Lynchburg - Oct. 17-19, 24-26 - Candlelight Tours of Old City Cemetery - Candlelight Tours in Old City Cemetery, original scripts every year.
Lynchburg - Oct. 24-26 - "Ghosts of Historic Lynchburg" Walking Tour - Enjoy an evening walking through Daniel’s Hill, a part of Lynchburg’s Historic District, with a guide that will delight and entertain you with stories of the haunts of days gone by.
Lynchburg - Oct. 31 - Old City Cemetery Chapel invites you to an All Hallows Eve Services. Enjoy refreshments by jack-o-lantern candlelight in the garden.
Doswell - Oct. 4-6, 11-13, 18-20, 25-27 - Halloween HAUNT at Kings Dominion - As dusk settles over cheery grounds of Kings Dominion, the atmos-fear will change as shrieks and screams signal that Haunt is coming to life. Families and children may enjoy Halloween fun during daylight hours with age-appropriate, non-scary activities! NEW in 2013 are 2 new mazes, Miner's Revenge and Zombie High! In all, Halloween Haunt will feature 10 haunted mazes, 5 spooky shows, 6 scare zones and all the thrilling rides and attractions. Also NEW in 2013 is Planet Spooky - full of all treats and no tricks for the kids and their families! Planet Spooky will feature a treasure map adventure, hay maze, pictures, pumpkin painting and more. Planet Spooky runs every Saturday and Sunday from noon until 5pm September 28-October 27.
Charlottesville - Oct. 18-20 - Annual Spirit Walk - The 19th Annual Spirit Walk blends drama, storytelling and living history as costumed guides lead nighttime tours through Historic Downtown Charlottesville, meeting dozens of historic personalities along the way!
