Tips for a Great Trip

Planning ahead is the best way to make sure your trip is as enjoyable as possible. Whether you've planned your trip for weeks or are going on the spur of the moment, here are some things to remember when preparing for your summer trip!

  • Take lots of pictures. Or, if you'd rather stay in the moment, try to at least capture one or two to serve as a reminder of your fun times.
  • Be present. Taking a trip is a great way to connect with your family and friends in a deeper way than what happens on a day-to-day basis. Take advantage of this quality time by putting your phone on "do not disturb" and leaving your computer at home.
  • Try new things. Visiting a new city is a great time to try new foods, activities, and learn about things that you may have never considered before. Let this be a time to expand your horizons and find new interests.
  • Don't forget essentials like sunscreen, your cash and credit or debit card, snacks, your ID, and, if you're a student, your student ID so you can take advantage of any deals or discounts especially for students.
