Walden Pond does not require a security deposit; we instead require Surebond coverage which can be purchase for a $175.00 non-refundable fee.
Walden Pond required a $25.00 application fee for all applicants, occupants and guarantors. In addition, a $150 Holding fee is required to hold the apartment. At move in, the holding fee is credited towards the first months rent. However, if the application is cancelled after 72 hours, the Holding fee is non-refundable.
Walden Pond requires a $100 Refurbish Fee and a $35.00 Amenity Fee.

Yes, we are very pet friendly, but we do restrict certain aggressive breeds. We do not allow Pit bulls (American Staffordshire, Bull Terriers), Dobermans, Rottweiler's, Chows, and German Sheppard's. Full- blooded or mixed at any percentage will not be permitted.

Yes, we have a pet fee of $200.00, and a $100 pet deposit. Monthly pet rent is $10 per pet per month.
Yes, if verified with a company notification letter. The resident must be moving at lease fifty (50) miles outside of the area and must be transferred with a branch of the same company for which he or she is presently working. The 60-day notice does not commence until the Management office receives the company's verification of transfer letter.
We offer lease terms from 3 months to 15 months and 24 month leases.
We do allow leases as short as 3 months with a short term lease premium. (3-5 months, $100 additional per month and 6-8 months, $50 additional per month)
You have three options on how to report a service request. You can either call a service request in to the office, stop by the office or e-mail it in through our website www.WaldenPondLiving.com
When is rent payment due? Rent is due on the first of every month. You have until the close of business on the fifth to avoid late fees. After the fifth of the month, your account will be assessed a $75 late fee.
You do not accrue late fees until the close of business on the 5th of the month
We do accept electronic payments however they must be in our office by the 5th of the month to avoid late fees.

If they are going to be staying more than 7 days, we will need to process a normal application on that person.
All vehicles must be parked in designated parking areas. Motorcycles are not allowed in apartments, storage units, patios, or breezeways.
You can install a satellite dish within your patio. It may not be adhered to our structure in any fashion and has to be contained within the patio area to meet our guidelines. Proof of Renters Insurance is required equal to $100,000
We will be happy to accept your packages if you are not home. Please keep in mind we are not held responsible for any damages or lost packages
You can register to vote at Lynchburg DVA, located 8 minutes from Walden Pond. From 460 West: Take 460E towards Lynchburg. Take Candlers Mountain Road exit (Route 501N) to the left. Go to the first stoplight and take a right onto Mayflower Drive. Go to the first stoplight. DMV will be located on your right (corner of Mayflower and Odd Fellows).
