Giving Back to the Community
Thank you to everyone who participated in the blood drive we hosted on July 14th. We had a total of 15 units donated, so all together our donors helped save up to 45 lives!
Serving at Lynchburg Daily Bread
Last month several members from our team volunteered at Lynchburg Daily Bread. The experience allowed us to serve others and opened our eyes to the needs of people within our local community. If you are interested in volunteering your time to help those in need, or would like to make a donation, please contact:
Yard work Service
Last month our team also had the opportunity to help a local family in need through yard work. The family was truly grateful for the time we spent helping them, and it was a good reminder how small acts of service can make a big difference in someone’s life.

Poem of the Month
by Ralph Waldo Emerson
The prosperous and beautiful
To me seem not to wear
The yoke of conscience masterful,
Which galls me everywhere.
I cannot shake off the god;
On my neck he makes his seat;
I look at my face in the glass,
My eyes his eye-balls meet.
Your gold makes you seem wise:
The morning mist within your grounds
More proudly rolls, more softly lies.
Yet spake yon purple mountain,
Yet said yon ancient wood,
That night or day, that love or crime
Lead all souls to the Good.
