Walden Pond Surveys

Clubhouse Rental

Don’t forget as residents of Walden Pond you can rent our Clubhouse for any event. You only need to remit a $25.00 reservation fee and $25.00 per hour for any reservation you would like to make. Contact the Leasing Office to book your event today!


Resident Referral

Do you need some extra cash? Don’t forget Walden Pond offers our Resident Referral Program! Earn up to $200.00 for each 12 month lease signed!

*program subject to Management approval.


Treasure for Education

The Walden Pond Leasing Office will be promoting our “Treasure for Education” program. Box Tops for Education helps Lynchburg City Schools purchase books, educational tools, and allow for participation in additional educational opportunities for students grades K-8. Beginning February 1, 2015, the Walden Pond leasing team will collect Box Tops for Education and turn them into our local schools. Please come by and drop off your Box Tops in our treasure chest! We will continue this collection throughout the 2015 school year and are looking forward to a great response from our community.

Heat Reminder

As the weather gets colder outside, please ensure that your thermostat is set to a minimum of 60 degrees. This minimum temperature must be maintained to prevent pipes from freezing and causing damage to your apartment, as well as other apartments in the building.

Reminder

Please note that rent is due by the close of business on the 5th of each month. Any payment received after 6pm will result in a $75.00 late fee.

If payment is not received by this time, a 1st notice will be sent advising you have five days to make payment in full. If the account is still not paid, you will receive a 2nd notice at which time allows five additional days to make payment.

After these two notifications, if payment is not received in full, Walden Pond will file immediately for an unlawful detainer. This grants Walden Pond judgment for the amount due plus possession of the apartment. Rent can be paid by personal check, money order or online at WaldenPondLiving.com utilizing an E-Check or credit card.


Snow Removal Policy

The Service Team will begin snow removal as follows: If snowfall predictions are for more than 3” then a first attempt at removal will begin prior to snowfall ending. If snowfall predictions are less than 3” then removal will begin as soon as snowfall ends.

If snowfall occurs overnight, removal of snowfall will begin no later than 6 a.m. Each resident is responsible to dig out their own car from the parking spot. PARKING IS NOT ASSIGNED.

Please be aware that if you clear a spot, it may not be available if/when you move your car. Be sure to park 3 feet from the sidewalk so that we are able to clear them completely.


Complimentary Renewal Carpet

Walden Pond still offers complimentary renewal carpet cleanings. To qualify, you must have signed a lease for 9 months or longer and have remitted your renewal request by the date on your renewal offer. Please make sure to schedule your carpet cleaning during the month of your renewal. Please call the Leasing Office at (434) 385-5060 with any questions.


Walden Pond Recycles!

Please make sure to come by the office to pick up your recycling box provided by the City of Lynchburg. Our community also has recycling bins at the cul-de-sac of the community for your recycling needs (paper, plastic, aluminum only).
